Chantal, Marijn, the children Lily and Mika have been happy to welcome you since 2015 at Domaine Le Piboul, 11700 Fontcouverte, Occitanie, in the south of France between Narbonne and Carcassonne.

Information

Fontcouverte, a small village in the south of France, located in the Aude department and the Occitanie region (Languedoc-Roussilon). You will find a post office, cafe, grocery, a bread collection point and the weekly fruit and vegetable market, Thursday pizza. During the summer months , weekly fun village activities . Supermarket chains, pharmacies, doctors, restaurants, cafes, a disco, a cinema, etc. are 4-7 km away. The beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, the rivers and lakes provide the necessary refreshment during the beautiful warm summers. Carcassonne, Narbonne, Béziers (20-30 minutes) and even Toulouse, Montpellier and Perpignan (50-70 minutes) are quickly accessible. Located in the largest wine-growing area of ​​France, on the border of Les Corbieres and le Minervois, sur La route 20 (say vin) with many wine domains, caves and chateaux that you can visit freely and have a drink. The cuisine is Mediterranean French/Spanish and the prices are still very correct. Olives, honey, fruit and vegetables, cheeses, fresh fish, .... to be enjoyed in the pleasant shaded gardens in various restaurants. Midi menu 13-14€. Traveling by car in the French countryside is strongly recommended. Public transport is virtually non-existent.

House Rules

  • The rental periods : low season: arrival from 4 pm and departure at 10 am ; high season (July/August): arrival on Saturday from 4 pm and departure on Saturday at 10 am.
  • No pets are allowed in our holiday homes. Smoking is prohibited in the holiday homes.
  • The holiday home is not rented out for bachelor parties, student cantuses or other excessive drinking parties.
  • When booking under false pretenses, the advance/deposit will be withheld and the tenant will not be given access to the holiday home / the holiday home will be denied.
  • In the event of a fire, you must leave the building as soon as possible and notify the fire brigade (18 or 112) and the owner. In the event of a small fire, you can first try to extinguish it yourself with the fire extinguishers provided there. A guest must be in possession of a mobile phone so that the emergency services can be notified.
  • It is not allowed to occupy the house with more than the stated maximum number of people. Additional tents, caravans or motorhomes are also not allowed.
  • Children less than 2 years old are not counted as a full person, but must be mentioned in advance.
  • Household waste must be properly sorted in the appropriate bins.
